Since 1995, YAMASAN has been delivering carefully selected traditional Japanese foods, such as miso, soy sauce, and tea, to customers around the world. Inspired by the demands of our international clientele, we decided to expand our reach and ship our products abroad, allowing people to enjoy the essence of Japanese culinary traditions anywhere.
Our dedicated team showcases the heart of Japanese traditions, providing an authentic Japanese cuisine experience. Organic Sencha Green Tea, one of our premium offerings, is grown in the rich natural environment of Uji, Kyoto.
The ideal temperature for brewing hot Sencha is around 70-90°C. When serving tea for multiple people, pour it gradually into the teacups in batches to ensure uniform taste and quantity. Ensure to pour until the very last drop.
Certified 100% organic by JONA and JAS, our Sencha Green Tea is meticulously selected from the finest tea farms. The tea leaves are cultivated in open-air tea plantations and exposed to direct sunlight, resulting in a deep green color and a mellow, impactful aroma.
Organic tea accounts for only 4% of Japan's domestic tea production, making our Sencha an exceptionally valuable offering. It is also an excellent gift choice.
The secret to the deliciousness of our Sencha Green Tea lies in the blend and manufacturing method. Tea experts carefully assess the quality of the tea leaves each year, with the first harvest of the Yabukita and Saemidori cultivars serving as the primary components.
Furthermore, the far-infrared roasting and pasteurization techniques employed unleash the original, captivating aroma and full-bodied flavor of the tea leaves.
Steaming the freshly picked tea leaves is crucial to halt oxidation and fermentation, preserving the green color and removing the "grassy" odor. The steaming process significantly impacts the Sencha's color and quality.
Cold Brew Sencha Green Tea is also highly recommended, as it produces a mellow taste by making it difficult to extract bitter, astringent ingredients and caffeine. Additionally, the cold brewing process preserves vitamin C, which is otherwise destroyed by heat.
To prepare Cold Brew Sencha, add 3g (1 heaped tsp) of tea leaves to 100ml of water and refrigerate for 1 to 6 hours, depending on the batch size. You can further enhance the experience by adding complementary fruits like lemon, peach, pear, or blueberry.
Explore our wide selection of premium teas, including Mugicha, Genmaicha, Oolongcha, Green Tea Powder, Karigane, and Hojicha, all available for your enjoyment.
